The United States government created residential segregation and has done little to stop it and its intimate relationship with systemic racism. A THREAD
@suspect1973@JoePompliano Athletic Training - a health care profession- requires a masters degree, passing boards and 50 hours of continued education every 2 years and yet the average pay is $50,000 a year. Make it make sense.
I asked Bucs rookie WR and former Washington standout Jalen McMillan about the duck that flew onto the field before the Bucs blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown:
"It was one of the bad moments of the game. Ducks aren't good luck, they're weird. I hate ducks" 😂
If you shoot a millionaire on a sidewalk, you're a terrorist. If you let a homeless person freeze to death on a sidewalk, you're a member of Congress with a keen sense of fiscal responsibility.
If a state left Trump off of the ballot, do you think the media would respond with a shrug of the shoulders? The Montana Secretary of State left Kamala Harris off the ballot. Not RFK Jr, not Jill Stein. Kamala Harris. They should be forced to start over & the SoS should be jailed
BREAKING: The U.S. Army has officially released a statement condemning Donald Trump’s politicization of a memorial service for fallen soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery. Donald Trump is the least patriotic candidate to ever run for public office.
Last night @KamalaHarris spoke about and demonstrated leadership grounded in compassion and decency. Please indulge me as I share my specific example. As many of you know, back in March the @VP came to Parkland at my invitation to tour the building where Jaime and 16 others were murdered. The building was an untouched crime scene that still contained the blood, DNA, shards of glass, and course work on the desks. I communicated this reality to the VP and her team over and over to make it clear and give them an out. They came in spite of knowing what they would see. However, several things happened that day that I think get to just how special the VP is. First, there were 3 hours scheduled for the walk thru of the building and family meetings. Almost immediately, the VP realized the emotion of the families and asked her team to cancel the rest of her day. She knew a time limited day would simply not be work. She ended up staying for well over 5 hours. Second, during the walk thru of the building somebody within the group that included family members, staff, and security joining for the walk thru had an emotional reaction. Because we were with the VP, everyone tried to ignore it so that we could keep the process moving forward. The VP did not. With no cameras or reporters present to capture it, the VP stopped the walk thru so that the concern could be addressed. Because of the compassion and leadership of the VP, the person was attended to and the walk thru continued. I saw firsthand just how special she is. I also saw firsthand just how eager she was to absorb every detail of what she learned and to go forward with the work to fight gun violence ingrained even more deeply in her soul. We are truly fortunate to have someone like @VP@KamalaHarris running for the Presidency and I cannot wait to cast my vote for her.
Let’s make a new rule. Anybody who is over 75 years old shouldn’t be running for president.
Anybody who is convicted of a felony shouldn’t be running for president.
Anybody found liable for fraud or sexual assault should not be running for president.
Does this sound fair?
Let’s be clear: Donald Trump would sign a national abortion ban and restrict access to contraception if given the chance.
That is what’s at stake in November.
We will stop him.
