If the @fourthestategh, a bunch of journalists had not taken the trouble to investigate NSS and SML, they would have said our claims of corruption were made up. And that we hate those God has blessed.

Imagine all those the Fourth Estate haven't investigated. The State makes thieves millions because it refuses to investigate.

The State itself is guilty of abetment, conspiracy to rob and kill us.

We need an vision for Ghana. We won't achieve it doing the same things over and over again.

ORAL is the answer! If not the 4th Republic will fail. In fact, it must.

MIRACLE: Ghana has found enough grounds to remove the Chief Justice, but not enough grounds to cancel the SML contract. This is despite the fact that the current president said in opposition that an NDC government under his watch would not recognise the SML contract.

For a country struggling with creating meaningful employment for it's citizenship imagine how many hair dressers/braiders could partner with boarding schools to visit periodically to do hair on designated days. And this is just one of many benefits of just letting the egos die.

All attention is on the CSA bill but the Data Harmonization bill by NITA is even more unsettling.

If that too is passed, here is what will happen:

1. One agency gains access to every citizen’s data. NITA will aggregate data from GRA, NHIA, DVLA, Births & Deaths, Passport, telcos, banks, etc. A single national file on each person ie identity, income, health, location, and communication history.

2. No court oversight before access or sharing. NITA can compel any institution to hand over data or connect to its system. There’s no requirement for judicial approval or citizen consent before integration.

3. Political control over all public data. NITA answers directly to the Minister of Communications, not Parliament or an independent board. Whoever controls that ministry controls the country’s entire data infrastructure.

4. End of institutional independence. Agencies like GRA or NHIA lose autonomy over their databases. They must follow NITA’s standards and directives or be sanctioned.

5. Legalised data sharing with private companies. “Data-sharing partnerships” allow NITA to connect private systems (telcos, banks, fintechs) to the government hub. All private-sector data effectively becomes state-accessible.

6. No ownership or deletion rights for citizens. The Bill never states who owns data once harmonised.. You can’t demand correction, deletion, or know how long your data is stored.

7. Cross-linked datasets let the state profile citizens in real time ie our spending habits, movements, political activity.

8. One hack, leak, or insider breach exposes the entire population.

9. Every new digital product that touches public data must first meet NITA’s approval.

10. Once systems are merged and infrastructure centralised, you can’t undo it. Every future government inherits total visibility into our lives.

I’m turning 41, but I don’t feel like celebrating.

Our generation is running out of time to save the free Internet built for us by our fathers.

What was once the promise of the free exchange of information is being turned into the ultimate tool of control.

Once-free countries are introducing dystopian measures such as digital IDs (UK), online age checks (Australia), and mass scanning of private messages (EU).

Germany is persecuting anyone who dares to criticize officials on the Internet. The UK is imprisoning thousands for their tweets. France is criminally investigating tech leaders who defend freedom and privacy.

A dark, dystopian world is approaching fast — while we’re asleep. Our generation risks going down in history as the last one that had freedoms — and allowed them to be taken away.

We’ve been fed a lie.

We’ve been made to believe that the greatest fight of our generation is to destroy everything our forefathers left us: tradition, privacy, sovereignty, the free market, and free speech.

By betraying the legacy of our ancestors, we’ve set ourselves on a path toward self-destruction — moral, intellectual, economic, and ultimately biological.

So no, I’m not going to celebrate today. I’m running out of time. WE are running out of time.
