@SarahSalviander I just bred your chapter article about God. Black Holes, and the End of the Universe in The Story of the Cosmos: How the Heavens Declare the Glory of God. It was excellent.
The sky looks like marble. dark clouds next to white cumulus clouds, The rain it falls. The house is dark. God is here. He speaks and His voice travels in and out and round about. He speaks. He says, 'I am here.' He is able to meet your and my needs. He cares.
That was quite a day. I gave up and I gave it all to God. It was the best thing I ever did.

There are a few birds flying and then pausing on a few limbs of the tree in my backyard. They are busy. I watch them fly back and forth, higher and higher. It is a nice reminder that God takes care of the animals. He is at work around the earth despite all that we care to notice.
We tend to think that we have little to offer. Do you have a smile? Why not use it. You can brighten someone's day. Let's make a difference. Try it, you'll like it.

I am sad. The Bidwell Mansion, designed by John Bidwell and his wife, Maude Bidwell, burned down. It was a much-loved historical home that many of us visited every once in awhile. It breaks my heart. Really, it is too bad. It was one of a kind. I drove by it yesterday.
