If you think the World Cup is rigged for Argentina and Messi .. sell your father’s house and stake on Argentina winning the World Cup.
Put your money where your conspiracy is…
On this date a year ago, I was reading the news as usual during my Sunday slot. Then, through my earpiece, the director of the show told me that we were crossing LIVE to a media briefing by KZN Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
Line after line Mkhwanazi dropped bombshells unlike anything this country has heard. I sat on my TV news anchor chair, and all I could do was go YOH!
It was that briefing that gave birth to the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.
Do you remember that day?
Imagine the Anglo-American media reaction if the Kremlin had directly called FIFA during Russia 2018 asking it to review a card for a Russian player.
We’d still be getting Netflix documentaries about it.
Recently, FIFA suspended Nepal’s football federation over government interference. Several federations have faced sanctions for the same reason.
Now we learn the White House made a direct call to FIFA asking Infantino to review Balogun’s red card.
FIFA insists the decision was handled by an independent disciplinary panel and could not be influenced externally.
But how is a direct call from a government to FIFA over a player’s suspension not, at the very least, political interference?
Madlanga commission also needs a young R600 million to finish the job properly. There are two many new names on the General Feroz Khan phones to finish in July.
We are shaping up well so far. The national Dialogue kakpraat hangout sessions by the GNU politicians, lobby groups, sportspeople, athletes, washed up actors, retired politicians, storytellers & beauty queens has cost us about R441 million to date, excluding unforeseen expenses. Obviously, with nothing to show for it.
We play our cards right, we can easily achieve the R700 million original budget’s spend by end of Aug 2026. And a R1 billion mark by end of 2026.
PS: Don’t forget to do your eFiling, you guys. SARS gets upset when you don’t😏
I completely understand where you’re coming from, but for a lot of gamers physical discs are the only way they could afford to play games because they could get them secondhand. You can also give games to your younger siblings Which is a great way to introduce them to the games you were playing.
Most importantly though, as we saw from PlayStation this past week, if the media we buy is only digital, it can be taken away from us at a moment’s notice with no recourse. Imagine that, one day your entire library of games could be deleted overnight because technically you don’t own it.
Clement Manyathela calls out media houses for deliberately describing the protests as “anti-migrant” instead of “ANTI-ILLEGAL MIGRANT” protests🔥🤌
He also says the government has fundamentally failed the country, and that this failure is what has led to the public's reaction🤭
You need 4 bank accounts if you want to build wealth without constantly wondering where your money went:
1. Income Account
This is where all your money comes in. salary, business income, side hustles, investment returns, and every other source of income. Don't spend directly from this account. Let it be the control centre where every naira is assigned a purpose.
2. Essentials Account
This covers your monthly necessities: rent, groceries, transportation, utilities, subscriptions, and other unavoidable expenses. Automatically transfer a fixed percentage here every month. If it's not a necessity, it doesn't belong in this account. Be honest with yourself.
3. Investment Account
This is where your future is built. Use it for stocks, crypto, index funds, retirement savings, or saving toward a home. Pay your future self before anyone else. Money leaving this account should create more wealth, not fund lifestyle upgrades.
4. Fun Account
Life isn't just about paying bills. Set aside a fixed amount for dining out, skincare, entertainment, travel, shopping, or hobbies. When your fun money runs out, the fun pauses until next month. Keeping pleasure separate from essentials helps you enjoy your money without guilt or overspending.
The goal isn't to have more bank accounts.
The goal is to give every naira a clear assignment before it disappears.
If you don't want four separate bank accounts, you can also use dedicated sub-accounts, wallets, or budgeting "spaces" offered by many banks and finance apps. The key idea is separating the purpose of your money, not necessarily opening four different banks.
FIFA’s broadcast cameras appeared to avoid showing this moment, likely due to rules around political gestures and protests.
But today, Lumumba covered his mouth and mimed a gun to his head in a powerful protest against the silence surrounding the conflict in eastern DR Congo.
One of the world’s most active crises has displaced thousands, and he used the World Cup stage to make sure people could not look away.
This is what true influence looks like. 🇨🇩👏
South Africans:"Deport illegal immigrants"
Government :"we don't have budget "
South Africas:"ok we will"
Government:"I have 600 million to stop you"
People's enemy number one will always be the Government
Miguel Almirón covered his mouth and was shown a red card, plus an additional one-match suspension. ❌🇵🇾
Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham covered his mouth against Ghana but walked away without a red. 🤔🏴
Same action, different outcomes… interesting debate on consistency in decision-making at this World Cup.

‼️🇧🇷 Brazylia IDZIE NA WOJNĘ Z FIFA! 🔥
Reprezentacja Brazylii złamała oficjalny regulamin i kategorycznie odmówiła wywiadów w przerwie meczu.
🎙 Gdy dziennikarz ostrzegł Viniciusa:
"Za to grozi wam potężna kara finansowa."
🗣 Vini Jr. odpowiedział krótko i bezczelnie:
"To zapłacimy. Ale nikt z nas nie wyjdzie do mikrofonu."
Brazylijczycy mają dość rygorystycznych zasad federacji i pokazali, że pieniądze nie kupią ich posłuszeństwa.
2010. South Africa. They said theft will be at an all-time high. Unsafe for world cup. Didn't happen.
2014. Brazil. Complained about some of the remote places the venues were. Unsafe for players. Didn't happen.
2018. Russia. "It's not a democracy". There would be marginalization. People would not even be free or allowed entry. Didn't happen.
2022. Qatar. " Slave built stadiums ". A morally bankrupt nation. " It cannot be fun". The tournament is horrible. No alcohols. Religious intolerance. Didn't happen.
2026. US. All the above happening.
We see.
FIFA | You were always going to be exposed for your double standards. It was only a matter of time.
You were so quick to ban Russia in 2022 for fighting a NATO provoked war but failing to do the same on people that are killing children around the world. You allow football officials to be ill-treated by host countries.
What a horrible; spineless man you are....🚮
