Producing 824 MW of electrical power, our Muskrat Falls Hydroelectric Generating Station is the second-largest hydroelectric plant in our province. The plant, located on the lower Churchill River in Labrador, has been providing power to Newfoundland and Labrador since 2020.

The 900MW LIL tests previously scheduled for earlier this month will now take place on March 25 & 26. The timing of the tests may change due to weather and system conditions.

Customers in Rocky Harbour and Norris Point are still without power. Crews are working to remove a tree from the line in that area. Estimated restoration is 11:00.
