Congratulations to Deputy Sheriff Eugene Lamkin on his retirement as of April 1st, 2021. Eugene has 33 years of service with the NL Dept of Justice and Public safety, 13 of which was with the Sheriff's Office. We thank him for his dedicated service and wish him all the best!

Dave was also a 20 plus year Firefighter with the Kippens Volunteer Fire Department. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and colleagues.
The Office of the High Sheriff is saddened with the loss of one of our own. A true leader and gentleman, Sergeant Dave Green passed away suddenly this past weekend doing something he loved.
