@AriBerman I think you need to have a closer look at how this works & why. Maybe go live outside of NY, take a different POV, and realize that major cities shouldn’t make decisions for the entire country, that’s the point you’re trying to make. There’s a reason why senate is 2 per state.

I also don’t identify with a party, but can very much say i don’t like extremes on either side. There won’t be much blocked if both go to Dems, and you’re right, world keeps spinning.

Look at the popularity gained from “grass roots” Democratic socialism, vs the far right. No comparison.

Simply allows for a more progressive agenda whether Biden is progressive or isn’t.
