Whatever you do as a Nigerian (by birth), PLEASE get a second passport if you can!!!.
I was on call with a tax consultant earlier, he asked where I am from to proceed with my request and I mentioned.
Then the next thing I heard was „sorry, due to compliance risks with Nigeria, i have to ask you some additional questions.
Unusual figures and structures trigger AML questions for someone from your nationality“.
He was literally apologising the whole time and recommended I get a German passport in between.
The so many „sorry“ was literally him trying to be polite.
I was annoyed and really sad at the same time, like wtf.
One thing I’ve consistently done for this community is expose you guys to different trade profiles and show you the logic behind them. 📊
GBPUSD has been delivering massive results using a mechanical framework built on rules, not guesswork.
The goal has always been simple: understand the system, trust the process, and execute with logic.
We’re not here to chase patterns. We’re here to understand what makes them work. 🏆

TRADERS, YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND EDGE DECAY.
Let’s take trading out of the conversation for a moment and look at the content industry.
You will notice that some creators discover a particular style of content that brings them massive growth. They keep using that approach because it works. But after some time, the same strategy that once brought them thousands of views may suddenly stop delivering the same results.
Does that mean they should stop creating content? No.
It means they need to study the changes, refine their approach, and evolve with the environment.
The same principle applies to trading.
There is something called edge decay a situation where an approach that once gave you a statistical advantage gradually becomes less effective as market conditions change.
But here is where many traders get it wrong.
The moment they experience a few losses, they start abandoning their systems, jumping from one strategy to another, and searching for something new.
That is not evolution. Sometimes, it is simply a lack of discipline.
Having a working system does not mean you should stop learning. It means you should keep refining your understanding of that system.
Study your wins. Study your losses. Understand the market conditions under which your edge performs best. Pay attention to what has changed, and use evidence to determine whether your system needs refinement.
Do not change your system just because you lost a trade. And do not assume your system will remain effective forever just because it has made you money in the past.
There is a difference between abandoning your edge out of frustration and refining your edge based on evidence.
One is emotional. The other is strategic.
Your goal is not to keep changing systems. Your goal is to keep your system relevant without losing the logic that made it work in the first place.
The market evolves. Your understanding should evolve with it.
System over pattern. Logic over emotion.
