@Pirat_Nation Dunno, even when some are pissed , to me the auto translation just reinforced how polite the vast majority of the Japanese are, even when they disagree with some stuff (like the piracy issues). Blunt yes, but surprisingly polite language considering their often obvious anger.
@Tomoejp1236@emutyworks Yeah. Just my selfish wish it'd happen faster haha. But I just hope it happens one day and is successful in the end. Whenever it does.
@Tats_Gunso western companies to measure public interest in which works to license and adapt to local languages. But a lot of us still just consume the pirate content without care with no long term plans to even buy smth when its available to them in the future. And will not buy it :/ 2/3
@emutyworks@Tomoejp1236 I do strongly hope that Japanese media starts to get digitized faster though and become more available internationally, even in Japanese. Would make it even easier to acquire for me personally too as an avid consumer. And remove any excuses from those who do outright steal.
@emutyworks@Tomoejp1236 And even if you can't now. At least have the decency to get it later (of course the majority will sadly not, so I understand our Japanese brothers' and sisters' anger).
I am proud to own physical Japanese light novels and manga even though I am unable to read kanji (one day).
