What an amazing international IPC week its been! All the IPC and microbiology team are so happy to been able to see so many of our wonderful staff. And a reminder we are here for all our staff who need any advice and assitance regarding infection prevention.
Our final day of of IPC week and today was all about cleaning! We got to speak with our ward staff and their dedicated domestic cleaners teach all about types of decontamination.
Day 4 of International IPC week had our team seeing our front line staff who are seeing the increasing measles and pertussis cases. Teaching the importance of vaccinations #vaccination
Day 3 of IPC week and today has been our community focus day. We have been to visit some rehab units and community clinics learning about Infection Prevention! So great to meet a range of nursing staff and AHPs
As an Acute and community hospital we always ensure all staff are involved. Today, we continued to raise awareness on Infection Prevention standards in support of the #IIPW24. The IPC met with the community teams today to spread the word
