4.10.1983- Jandiala Guru, G.T.Road, Amritsar- At 8 in the night, Khalistani Sikh terrorists fired indiscriminately at shop of an Arhtiya Sh. Ram Asra.

In the firing, his son in law Sh. Madan Mohan, who had come from USA 3 days back and was sitting at his father in law’s shop was killed. Sh. Ram Asra and his son were injured in the firing. There was no electricity supply at the time of incident.

2.10.1989- Village Kotla Dholan Shah (P.S.Kathunangal) Amritsar- At 10 in the night, a vehicle of 10 Bn. of CRPF was hit by a powerful landmine blast. The mine was planted near a culvert.

In the blast, CRPF Sub Inspector Sh. Ram Swarup Singh and Constable Sh. K. Rajan attained martyrdom and 8 Jawans S/Sh. Bishambhar Dutt, P.C.Bhatt, Ram Murti, S.K.Bairagi, P.R.Nair, Keshav Singh, Sadhu Ram and Swaran Kumar were injured. After the blast, the terrorists fired at injured Jawans with AK 47 rifles but ran away when other parties of CRPF rushed there.

Homage to 2 CRPF martyrs , Sub Inspector Sh. Ram Swarup Singh and Constable Sh. K. Rajan on their martyrdom day. This nation will always remain indebted to them for their supreme sacrifice for the nation🙏🏻🙏🏻
