Last week: three trades | -3R
This week: best weekly R result in quite some time
Currently 2R from becoming a six figure funded trader π
Been a long, slow, steady road to get to this point with the evals
Feeling quite comfortable w/ the strat at this point
One mistake this week entering position 8 mins prior to news that resulted in -1R
Other than that, all trades on point πͺ
Taking partials and locking in profits more often is proving to work well w/ my psychology
Yea great question
And actually something I was thinking about while writing that post
Realized I don't have any hard set rules on taking partials
So I'm using @zoofxing's impossible indicator (along with some other variables) for entries and targets
I enter on 1m and target a 5m zoo line
If there is a 1m line between entry and target in the 2.5-4R zone, I will often take 25%, 33%, 40% off, move SL to BE and let the rest run to TP or BE
Too many times I've been up 3R only to go back to BE
So I'm really liking taking 1/3 TP around that level and ending up +1R if it goes back to BE
Taking partials is something that has come with confidence in the strategy. I no longer have the 'this is the one trade I need to win' mentality. So I don't have the desire I did before to go for big Rs or bust. A few R a week is plenty and, for my strategy, compounds at a much more reliable rate
Smaller, more frequent wins works so much better for my psychology compared to less frequent 10R wins
Also those big Rs are dangerous when trying to deal with Apex trailing DD
Zero trades taken off script
Stuck to the rules 100%
Metrics reflect this
R was not the best this week
But that's not the point atm
Mindset is getting much better with this mechanical entry strategy
Had almost no instances of fomo this week
Watched others pull big Rs and was just happy for them and didn't feel the need to try to catch up
Fix the mindset and Rs will follow πͺ
Facing some DD issues due to being a bit greedy yesterday
Up 7R and went to BE
Was less greedy today and +1.7R on the day
Pretty nice weekly result
Working toward profit target on these eval accounts
Slow and steady wins the race
6E
Entry 1 | BE
Entry 2 | +4.5R
Very few entries over the last few weeks
Patience and discipline to the plan at atm
Running numbers on bots in the meantime
Making big progress

Two trades in CL today
Trade1 | -1
Trade2 | BE
First trade was against rules
Second trade didn't fit rules 100% (but I've been backtesting the scenario) so went BE early
-2R this week due to being distracted and not rushing in to trades
Goal for next week: zero trades against the rules.. do better with alerts and don't rush into trades
Easier said than done w/ everything else going on but gave back 30% of profit this week.. so gotta do somethin about that
Overall tho, quite happy with results this week πͺ
Three CL trades today
Trade 1 | -1
Trade 2 | -1
Trade 3 | +5.2
Took a partial
And closed before TP was hit due to non-trading related obligations
Risk on all three trades was on point
Finding risk calculation is much easier for me on CL than 6E
+3.2 on the day πͺ
One trade in CL today
Didn't have alerts set correctly
And wasn't paying good enough attention to the charts (while at work)
Entry occurred just after bullish 5m CHoCH
This should have voided the entry
But didn't see it in real time
Not always easy juggling trading and a job
And something that doesn't come up in backtests
-1R on the day
