@LeakerApple Unless they moved the second camera to the other side? They could balance everything visually by adding a second plateau, which would also give them more room to compensate for the lost space.

@rjonesy Same for me, I wish we could view the progress and somehow tell it to „just do it now and give iOS permission to use all resources to create it fast instead of being it being smart (dumb) about it
@AaplParody Now imagine the background bleeding through and with each layer / component a bit less. I think that would look really good in most apps. Somehow I’m thinking about settings app that’s affected by the homescreen wallpaper as an example
@MaazMz It was big, but not too big and thin & light. Felt good to type on and I’m having problems typing on the 15 Pro. I’ll probably wait for the 18 Air. Though I’m still unsure if it would only feature one camera. Maybe if they could give it true optical zoom
@MaazMz Feels like a downgrade. I would never give up ProMotion. The 17 series is said to feature 120Hz across the board I think. If they really do an iPhone 17 Air, it might be a very enticing device. I’m wishing for such a device ever since I switched from my 6S Plus
Thinking about how “climate change will manifest as a series of disasters viewed through phones with footage that gets closer and closer to where you live until you're the one filming it” as @PerthshireMags said.
At the height of One Million Checkboxes's popularity I thought I'd been hacked. A few hours later I was tearing up, extraordinarily proud of some brilliant teens.
A thread about my favorite story from running OMCB....
@viktor_pali@craftdocsapp What do you use for syncing? And is this local / offline first?
I’m currently writing my own real-time local first sync system for SwiftUI & WinUI with a Laravel backend based on SQLite for a side project. I dislike vendor lock-ins and wasn’t happy with solutions for native
@gavinmcfarland Sounds stupid but I always hated the design of the toolbar. It made the whole app look like an unpolished web app to me. I know it worked well. The new toolbar alone looks much more modern and clean. So much that I might consider trying out Figma again. Currently using Sketch
iOS 18 supports dual language keyboards. So no more need to have multiple keyboards active, making it easier to switch between keyboard and emoji picker 🎉
I reported this as a feature request, great that it got added!
