@JoeBiden Why did congress choose not to move forward with the proposed plan to put current student loans interest rates at 0% and all future loans at 3-4%? This would have reduced the strain for future borrowers, allowed borrowers to pay off the loans they have with high interest balances

Wanna rant a little bit about the state of things here in the US. So, student loans are about to kick in. I've got about 110k in student loans. I'm married with 3 kids and my wife is a stay at home mom and it's cheaper than her getting a job and us paying for childcare.
