@StewartWood I made a swamp cooler from a cardboard box and poster tube, some duct tape, a bowl of water and a fan. It was midnight and 39 deg C in my apt. My meat thermometer suggested that the air coming out of the poster tube was about 10 degrees cooler. I got a B in my O-level physics.
