The first reinsurer approved by the Bermuda Monetary Authority under both the Digital Asset Business Act and the Insurance Act. OnRe brings real-world premium income onchain as composable, yield-bearing collateral across DeFi.
@Ayyanrahman, Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer at @onrefinance, will take the stage at Vault Summit NYC.

Introducing the OnRe Core Vault, curated by @RockawayX and verified by @AccountableData, the only way for Ethereum-based capital to access Solana-native reinsurance-backed yield.
One year ago, bringing institutional reinsurance to DeFi sounded crazy. Today, ONyc is integrated across Kamino, Loopscale, and Exponent, proving that sustainable, uncorrelated yield is exactly what on-chain markets needed
Proud of what the product team shipped. We're just warming up
OnRe turns one today.
One year ago, OnRe was founded with a clear belief: the future of reinsurance capital would not stay offline forever.
Today, that belief has grown into:
• $178M+ AUM
• 6,200 ONyc holders
• $17.28M in gross written premium
• $16.83M in yield distributed to ONyc holders
• $250M+ total assets deployed across OnRe DeFi Markets
• $100M+ of capital deployed into uncorrelated reinsurance opportunities
Reinsurance is one of the world’s largest and most resilient yield markets, yet access remained limited to institutions and incumbent balance sheets. Meanwhile, onchain capital expanded rapidly in search of sustainable sources of real-world yield.
The disconnect was clear: insurance needed new forms of capital, and digital asset markets needed more substance.
So we built OnRe to connect them.
A licensed collateralized reinsurer and onchain asset manager bringing reinsurance premiums onchain through ONyc, a Solana-native yield asset backed by real underwriting activity.
Over the last year, ONyc integrated into @solana DeFi through @kamino, @Loopscale, @ExponentFinance, @elementaldefi, and others, helping bring institutional-grade yield into lending markets, vaults, and liquidity infrastructure.
But the most important thing we built this year was conviction. Conviction that reinsurance can become programmable, transparent, and composable infrastructure for internet capital markets.
To our team, partners, investors, users, and community: thank you for believing in this vision.
We’re just getting started.
Introducing Loopscale Earn, curated Vaults that combine fixed-yield assets, lending, borrowing, looping, market making, perps, and multi-venue execution into a single position.
Most onchain vaults offer exposure to two products: pool lending and perps. Earn instead leverages Loopscale's credit primitives, including fixed yield tokens, LPs, Loops, and RWAs, to unlock a new class of onchain yield strategies:
• Managed looping with fixed-rate leverage
• Long-duration fixed-rate lending and borrowing across the credit curve
• Yield strategies on PT and yield-bearing collateral
• Leveraged LP positions with isolated risk
• Hedged yield exposure on SOL, BTC, and more
Depositors get the full strategy in a single position, no active management required.
The first Loopscale Earn Vault goes live soon with @ExponentFinance v2, delivering balanced, optimized exposure to @onrefinance ONyc and kicking off a new generation of curated Vaults on Solana.
Reinsurance-backed yield strategies structured into fixed-rate exposure and deployed across @solana credit markets, all through a single deposit.
ONyc integrated into the first @Loopscale Earn Vault through @ExponentFinance v2.
Coming soon.
We are investigating unauthorized access to GitHub’s internal repositories. While we currently have no evidence of impact to customer information stored outside of GitHub’s internal repositories (such as our customers’ enterprises, organizations, and repositories), we are closely monitoring our infrastructure for follow-on activity.
ONyc rolls forward.
A new maturity is now live on @ExponentFinance.
LPs and YT holders entering or migrating into ONyc-10SEPT26 can earn a limited time 8x OnRe Points multiplier through 20 May.
1/ We’re excited to continue our support of @onrefinance as co-lead of its Series A.
OnRe shows what an RWA can be at its best, pairing the strength of reinsurance yield with the composability of crypto.
Since we originally backed the team, DeFi users have become more eager for risk-adjusted yields while onchain products have increasingly offered one-click access to varied RWAs (akin to actively-managed credit funds).
OnRe has benefited from these trends, growing its TVL by $100m this year and becoming a top-20 Solana protocol.
More on our OnRe thesis ↓
Really proud to be building at @onrefinance!
This is a big milestone for the team, and I’m especially excited for what this next phase makes possible as we continue expanding access to a market that has historically been hard to reach and hard to understand.
Today we’re announcing our $5 million Series A, co-led by @FWDind and @Rockaway_X.
With up to $25 million in additional deployment from Forward, OnRe enters its scaling phase as a capital partner to the global reinsurance market.
And this is why OnRe has built a truly crypto-native RWA.
From building a liquidity layer to ensure a properly operating secondary market.
To direct integrations with @kamino, @Loopscale, @Titan_Exchange for the best DeFi experience.
And transparency needed for Defi. $ONYC
We’ve gotten word that @JupiterExchange has addressed the issue and users who had issues previously can now try again.
Thanks for bearing with us
If you still have issues please open a ticket in discord and we’ll assist.

Thank you to the @onrefinance team for working with us to ensure that our ONyc vault is safe.
Being there in such a dark hour to work through things together has made us more confident on the OnRe team and we are committed to deepening our ties further.
Funds in Elemental's ONyc vault are secure, and the vault remains fully operational.
