His experience in the game speaks for itself, and alongside his illustrious playing career, he holds his UEFA A Licence and currently works within the Aberdeen FC Academy.
PFC are excited about the fresh ideas, knowledge and experience Niall will bring to the role and look forward to seeing him continue to make a positive impact both on and off the pitch.
💬 "I'm absolutely delighted to have agreed to stay at Peterhead F.C. in a player/coach role for next season.
From the moment I arrived, I’ve felt the passion and togetherness that makes this such a special community club. There’s a real belief around the place, a hard-working group in the dressing room, and huge potential to keep moving forward both on and off the pitch.
I’m excited to continue helping the team as a player while also taking on the responsibility of coaching and supporting the team and younger lads in their development" - Niall McGinn
Welcome to Balmoor McGinn! ✍🔵⚪💙
Peterhead Football Club are delighted to announce that Niall McGinn has signed on a one year contract, subject to SFA approval.
💬 "Niall needs no introduction and we are delighted that we have been able to add him to the group. He is a top pro who hasn’t played at a lower level than the Championship in Scotland and has shown a commitment in moving back over to Aberdeen still with a top attitude to succeed. When we were aware of this opportunity it was one we couldn’t pass up. The experience and goal threat Niall brings having been full time his whole career will be crucial in helping our young group and ticks that areas in particular where we were focused on improving. I’m sure we will all look forward to welcoming him to Balmoor" - Jordon Brown
🗯 "Delighted to be back up in the North of Scotland in Aberdeenshire, back to where I played the best part of my career and enjoyed my football the most. It's great to join a club with ambition and off the back of a promotion last season. I'm familiar with the players such as Peter Pawlett and Cammy Smith and of course Jordon who I played with at Aberdeen also so I'm looking forward to getting together with the group" - Niall McGinn
