Huge shout out to the students who attend every live lesson, submit every assignment, answer when put on the spot and say a quiet but very welcome “thank you” at the end of a lesson. 👏🏻
Consistently impressed by the work our students are completing during live lessons (and loving the notebook to see it all done live - *almost* feels like I’m just looking in their book in a normal lesson) #GWproud
@N_Har2016 @Team_English1 @FunkyPedagogy Always have this issue! I have emphasised to them specificity. ‘You cannot write anything that I could pick up and place in another answer/one on another extract without having to alter’ - if that makes sense...
Today's Train to Teach CPD was led by @lauratsabet and @nmckayeng. Thank you to all the candidates from @AvonbourneUL @CarterCS_Poole and @GlenmoorAcademy for joining us.
@misskdonkin@Team_English1 I love these! More and more convinced that close consideration of individual words is the key to opening up analysis and ideas for students. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
What do people teach with regards to every character referring to Eva Smith as ‘pretty’ in AIC? I feel I’ve never quite been able to articulate its significance very well... @Team_English1
The winner of the Year 10-13 Maths Award is Mason from @WintonAcademyUL. Mason is described by his teacher as 'one of the most gifted Mathematicians that I have had the pleasure to teach'. #BiEAwards
@HmabbMiss The ‘coloured molecule’ part is confusing in this connection to language (how can spoken words be coloured molecules?) but this confusion is echoed further in the ‘tastes of sunlight’. The synathesia seems to reflect either the power or distance of her memories 🤷🏼♀️ /2
