The most universal benefit of AI is that people are no longer beholden to and dependent on random strangers to fulfill their needs. And a lot of said strangers are struggling with the fact that people no longer have to beg for their knowledge or service.
Developers will soon have no choice. Either adapt and appease even the small group of users asking for support on their platform of choice, or some kid in their basement will come in and do it for them. We're gonna see such an insane shift soon. Companies doing things they wouldn't have done "previously", or huge companies dying fast deaths because they refused to adapt. The example that comes to mind is Apple and MacOS on the iPad. They'll soon have no choice but to do it, or someone will figure out how to reverse engineer it to do it themselves, or another company will pop up and create a viable alternative.
@sublimecoder We're aiming to solve that problem (with Linux, not angry comments). DM me your email, we'd like to show you a preview of what we're working on @SimplyLuma
