A 2-day Psychological First Aid (PFA) training for teachers from schools across the Greater Malé Region commenced today in collaboration with the @MoEdumv and the @maldivianrc , with support from @WHOMaldives .
The training aims to strengthen teachers’ capacity to provide immediate mental health and psychosocial support to students following crises or traumatic events.
When parents respond with patience, reassurance, and understanding instead of pressure, they help protect their child’s mental well-being just as much as their academic performance. 💛

Thank you to @MBS_mv for the opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of mental wellbeing. Let’s continue building a healthier, more compassionate community together. 💙

When we recognize patterns of harm early, we can act sooner to protect wellbeing and create safer environments for children and young people.
Faith calls us to kindness, patience, and compassion, even when things don’t make sense to us.
Judgment creates distance, but kindness brings people closer. In the end, our actions speak louder than opinions.

We won’t always understand each other’s choices, struggles, or perspectives, and that’s okay. What truly matters is how we respond. As the Prophet ﷺ taught:
“The best among you are those who have the best manners and character.”
