[James Talarico @jamestalarico]

There is something deeply wrong with a political system that allows one trillionaire to buy his own personal U.S. Senator.

[Angry Staffer @Angry_Staffer]

Solid metaphor for the entire administration, honestly

[Donovan Mitchell @spidadmitchell]

Cleveland…. this is your note to send to your boss or teacher to miss work or school today for the game 🤣…. If you’re in school or work rn just leave they’ll understand! See yall in 2 hours @CleGuardians

[Rev. Benjamin Cremer @Brcremer]

This is Christian extremism. If a radical Muslim military leader was doing this in another country, using the Quran to stoke commitment to a holy war among young recruits, the condemnation from American Christians would be swift and severe. The hypocrisy is astounding.

This is the interview Trump’s FCC doesn’t want you to see.

We’re not just going up against the most corrupt politician in Texas.

We’re going up against this entire corrupt system.

[Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump]

Don't let Obama buy the election by handing out unlimited free money to states.

BREAKING: Jimmy Kimmel announces his interview with Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico will NOT air on ABC tomorrow, saying Trump’s FCC has threatened him, his show, ABC, its affiliates, and local stations over “simple traditional editorial decisions” and guest bookings.

Kimmel says the full interview will instead be posted to YouTube: “In the America we live in right now, that is the best that we can do until November.”

Been on the phone with several CFB refs/officials this morning

They are in complete agreement last night's outcome in Michigan is one of the most inexplicable they've ever seen

More on today's show (1e/12c)

For 17 years, it was “iron sharpens iron.”

Now that the tables have turned it’s “they’re gassed.”

[Andy Beshear @AndyBeshearKY]

I publicly and privately urged the last administration to address the public’s concerns with the former president’s health. I’m calling on Sen. McConnell to do the same and provide voters an update on his own health. Let’s end the crazy speculation. Just tell us what’s going on.

[Freddy🇩🇪 @FreddyLA7]

This is the most American I‘ve ever felt🇺🇸

[Acyn @Acyn]

Trump on Iran War:

Reporter: What extent are Americans’ financial situation motivating you to make a deal?

Trump: Not even a little bit. I don't think about Americans’ financial situation

[Justin Wolfers @JustinWolfers]

So you're telling me that cutting tariffs leads to lower prices?

Fascinating.

[Justin Wolfers @JustinWolfers]

Kevin Warsh just lost me. He argues he's going to be an independent Fed Chair, but refuses to acknowledge that Trump lost the 2020 election. If you can't state simple facts when you're in the political spotlight, you aren't independent. You're a coward.

[Maine @TheMaineWonk]

Oh.

[Pope Leo XIV @Pontifex]

God does not bless any conflict. Anyone who is a disciple of Christ, the Prince of Peace, is never on the side of those who once wielded the sword and today drop bombs. Military action will not create space for freedom or times of #Peace, which comes only from the patient promotion of coexistence and dialogue among peoples.

[Ben Rhodes @brhodes]

In the best case scenario, Trump struck a deal to reopen a Strait that was open before the pointless war he started, with the IRGC demonstrating its control over the Strait and potentially extracting fees plus sanctions relief. Thousands of innocents - including hundreds of children - dead in Lebanon and Iran for no reason. U.S. troops killed and wounded. U.S. embassies and bases in the Middle East badly damaged. U.S. standing in the world obliterated. U.S. munitions badly depleted. Hundreds of billions spent. Prices up everywhere. More global economic fallout to come. Putin strengthened and enriched. Just a catastrophic situation even in the best of circumstances. A profoundly shameful episode in American history no matter what happens next.

[Pope Leo XIV @Pontifex]

Even today there are tombs to be opened, and often the stones sealing them are so heavy and so closely guarded that they seem to be immovable. Some weigh heavily on the human heart, such as mistrust, fear, selfishness and resentment; others, stemming from these inner struggles, sever the bonds between us through war, injustice and the isolation of peoples and nations. Let us not allow ourselves to be paralyzed by them! #Easter
