Hey @storzmedical @Ethicon @OlympusUK and @hkumed, are these trainings being performed on animals who benefit from these treatments under the guidance of experienced doctors?
Or, are you causing unnecessary animal harm, counter to #3rs, normalizing doctors to violence, making them more susceptible to the pressures to commit mass atrocities, alienating students from cultural and religious backgrounds who don't want to cause harm, while causing trainees to experience moral distress and negative psychological consequences?
Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks!

This video was taken on Sept 25, 2023 above @mundomarino_ar in Argentina. Kshamenk, a 35 year old captive orca is observed languishing in decrepit and ever deteriorating conditions. He’s been stuck in this tank since his 1992 capture from the wild. His last orca tank mate died in 2000. We must fight for Kshamenk or he too will die soon.
Nipah originates in animals, and had a 40-70% mortality rate. It’s spread by bats and pig factory farming.
When will we wake up and realize that our broken relationship with animals is putting people at risk of dying from viruses? https://t.co/Kp4CPN3te9

From @nmlhazard's story, Turtle Dreams. "I dive into the blue and glide forward, my arms stretching, twisting, pulling back, my legs kicking steadily... For the longest time, there's nothing more than this: the pull of the current, the filtered sun, the caress of the warm water."
@nmlhazard's work has been published in Understorey, Room, Canthius, The Fiddlehead, The Dalhousie Review, The New Quarterly and more. Her first novel, The Nap-Away Motel, was published by @palimpsestpress in 2019. Find Nadja's short fiction, Turtle Dreams, in EVENT 52/1.
