Research findings:
We conducted a study @eightsleep looking at the impact on sleep quality from meals and fitness before bedtime, for women in menopause and men 45+
Here's what we found:
- Eating within 3h of bedtime: 8% lower HRV, 3% higher RHR
- Intense workouts within 2h of bedtime: 21% lower HRV, 4% higher RHR
This proves that recovery doesn’t start when you sleep, it starts hours before.
We launched Hot Flash Mode to help women manage nighttime hot flashes during sleep and the results speak for themselves.

Today, we launch the Women’s Sleep Initiative, our long-term investment in understanding how women sleep and building features that actually work for them.
We started by fixing hot flashes and we built the first “fast cooling mode” for nighttime relief. And it works: with 8 out of 10 women finding relief within 10 minutes. A 97% user satisfaction score.
This is just the beginning. Now available on the latest version of the @eightsleep app and compatible with all Pod models.
