All proposals by the Global Fact-Checking Network (GFCN) on countering misinformation have been included in the outcomes of the 12th BRICS Communications Ministers Meeting in Pune, India.

Representing the network in the working group sessions, GFCN expert Timofey V (@realTimaV) presented key initiatives focused on:
🔹Exchanging information verification methodologies
🔹Building international fact-checking capacity
🔹Developing specialized BRICS centers to combat disinformation
🔹Implementing educational programs for journalists and civil servants
