Yes! Learning information literacy skills (evaluating & verifying info sources for authority, relevance, bias, reliability, etc) has grown more important every year for decades as ease of access to an overwhelming sea of information has skyrocketed! Librarians teach this skill!
Gosh. It’s almost as if the systematic dismantling of #schoollibraries over the last several decades led directly to a populace that lacks a basic understanding of information literacy, civic responsibility and human empathy. #sigh
