In 2014, 3-year-old Karina Chikitova miraculously survived 11 days in the Siberian forest, which was teeming with bears and wolves, with only her dog for companionship.
She sustained herself by consuming wild berries and drinking from a river, while seeking warmth by curling up next to her faithful pet dog.
Eventually, her canine companion returned to her village and led rescuers to her location.
The footage below shows the moment the search team finally found her.
