Yesterday, during the 2024 Abakaliki Bankers Committee Dinner and Award Night, with the theme, "Digital Trust in Banking: the Foundation of a secure and resilient Financial System".

I was honored with the "Most Supportive Governor's Wife in Nigeria" award.

Late Chief Nwokpuru was a Community leader whose leadership was anchored on selflessness and tolerance. I urged the family to take solace in the fact that he lived a fulfilled life and encouraged them to emulate the legacies their father left behind.

Today, I attended the burial ceremony of late Chief Samuel Nwokpuru , the Ezinna 1 of Oyege Ezza Inyimagu Community in Izzi Local Government Area. He was the father in law of Mrs Chidinma Nwigwe my police orderly.

The Federal Government in collaboration with IFAD -VCDP and Ebonyi State government distributed farm inputs to farmers in Ebonyi. The inputs were distributed, during the Agency’s agricultural equipment/input distribution at the IFAD/VCDP office in Abakaliki.

On Friday, i visited the visually impaired students of State Special School, Opefia, in Izzi Local Government Area, and announced a monthly support of N500,000 to cater to their feeding needs through my foundation BERWO.

They only repaired the part that leads to your office and allowed Nteje street to remain in darkness.

Determined to curb the spread of cancer related ailments among Women, My foundation, BERWO, organized a free cervical cancer screening for 1000 women.

This was done in collaboration with Medical Women Association and Alex-Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital.
