i live in a constant state of anxiety. anxious that the grid will collapse on a rainy week and all my food + meat will go bad. anxious that my car will breakdown at night. anxious that i will slip and fall on the staircase. anxious that my phone will fall and crack.
anxious that my house will collapse. anxious that my lover(s) will disgrace me. anxious that my best friends will end our friendship. anxious that i will fail on work projects.
if i have a morning flight, i will be anxious that i will miss it, so I'll keep waking up every 20 minutes in panic and end up not sleeping the whole night.
it is an exhausting way of life. so much so that when i don't have anything to be anxious about, i become anxious that i missed something and it will be very bad.
i don't want to be put on anti-anxiety meds so i don't bring it up in medical sessions but can anyone relate to this? surely it cannot be only me?
