@_danielleeeees@JasonDoFinance but i think that artists should be allowed to have their favorite cities and it doesn’t have to be the “big” ones like nyc or la if that makes more sense
@_danielleeeees@JasonDoFinance oh no from a population point i agree ny shld have gotten more shows just considering how many people r there! my point is that i dont think comparing it to boston makes sense just since noah is so loud and proud about how much he favors boston. obv im biased as a bostonian
@_danielleeeees@JasonDoFinance i get where ur coming from but artists can favor whatever cities they want. dolly parton favors nashville. noah favors boston. not everyone needs to favor ny. i’m so sorry he cancelled and everyone has a right to be upset and discouraged but i wouldn’t say he hates new york 😭
@_danielleeeees@JasonDoFinance i mean, bostons the home city for any new england artist who gets too big for smaller local venues. we don’t have big enough cities to support that outside of it. any artist wld favor their home city over their non home cities. we can’t pretend noah’s not a human without biases
@goldengibees i grew up one state away from new york and i don’t claim any of their celebrities as special to me… why would it be any different the other way? why do new yorkers always think they’re so special… i don’t even think nyc is that fantastic of a city…
@natom7729@ultraCLAIR3 100% we’re all individuals & treating us all as the same- either that being trans is wrong for detrans grifters or that being trans is the only right way for i think overly “woke” trans people- is horrible. like for anything, not just trans people. all of us have different lives
@natom7729@ultraCLAIR3 -my preexisting feelings that i had for years before had always had a name, and that was transgender. i just really don’t like when anyone thinks their experience applies to every one else under the sun; this is for trans people as well as literally any other type of group
@natom7729@ultraCLAIR3 i don’t think you’re a nazi. i just really hate when detransitioners think their experience applies to every trans person. i’m truly happy you were able to find yourself by detransitioning! really! i do think 99% of the time, no one influences. my “influence” was learning my-
@natom7729@ultraCLAIR3 i’m so glad you found out yourself and your proper identity through detransitioning. truly! but just because you “made a mistake” when thinking you were trans, that wouldn’t mean it’s the same way for any other trans person. that way of thinking bothers me. not your existence.
@shapeofmyshadow it was literally such a perfect combo it was mumford & lord huron & dylan gossett who i had never heard of before but he was fantastic in the pouring rain
@alhpaquead@Shattubatu@A7754050296706 -to be detransitioning is invalidating them based on their genitalia. that’s not being a good ally, is it? to assume how someone identifies based on their genitalia? it’s not detransitioning for a transgender man to keep an ovary. THAT was my issue with this tweet.
@alhpaquead@Shattubatu@A7754050296706 i know that. the issue is the framing of keeping an ovary as “detransitioning”. it isn’t that. every single person faces dysphoria in a different way, and by framing someone’s medical decision for their own body as detransitioning even when they do not consider themselves to be-
@Shattubatu@A7754050296706 luckily for you, you aren’t a transman! so this conversation does not apply to you! why do you feel comfortable talking about something you’ve never nor ever will experience?
