@clevercorvidae_@23skiddsy@catherinespaws@DarksaberLight most dogs are not working dogs, they do it because of cosmetic reasons, i agree that if there is an actual good reason behind doing it, it’s fine, but people absolutely get these procedures mostly for aesthetic reasons.
@clevercorvidae_@23skiddsy@catherinespaws@DarksaberLight we were talking about cosmetically altering dogs through mutilation, and then the person proceeded to turn this discussion into a “ur country no castrate dogs.” i’m by no means a professional, but if this is what the veterinarians in my country recommend, i’d trust them.
@clevercorvidae_@23skiddsy@catherinespaws@DarksaberLight i have two male dogs, i don’t think that will be necessary. i would consider castrating one of my male dogs if the veterinary recommend it, but otherwise i don’t want to destroy my dogs hormonal system.
@clevercorvidae_ you say that, yet norway and sweden have far stricter laws regarding animal welfare. i’ll happily listen to your criticism of europe if you have any, however.
@h20o_@Nt1tax@JeanClaude93359 cancer is caused by mutations, and mutations are normal, which means everyone has cancer. so true, bestie, you should apply for a mensa membership.
