Last week I had the privilege of speaking at the Strategic Nuclear Deterrence virtual forum alongside my colleagues at other NSE sites, and I appreciated the opportunity to showcase all the great work done here in Nevada and see what others are doing around the country.

We are excited to have our summer interns back with us in a virtual setting. Amid the pandemic last year, we were able to switch the program from in-person to virtual in five weeks. It was a successful transition and we are happy to continue to support our students.

Congratulations to the six teams that were recognized with Defense Programs Awards of Excellence. Three were honored with Exceptional Achievement awards too! I am so proud of these teams, who know how to innovate and support the nuclear weapons modernization program. #leadership
