mind you, the only thing they were asked to do was keep kids off their site.
this was apparently such a blow to the PH business model that they decided the better thing to do would be to shut down completely wherever that was expected of them
@robolivermd@RhettGustafson@redpilledchi@MarkHyman I agree. Which is why the American system costs more than any system in the world, by both a private and public metric. Yet we do not have the highest outcomes.
I have familiarity with some foreign systems and they have more systems in place to curb the abuse and cost we have.
@robolivermd@RhettGustafson@redpilledchi@MarkHyman Most are subsidized by a private system with the core being public.
Others also have more restrictions on the private sector like price, denial, services and more requirements.
Having private as the base of our system inherently increase cost.

Billionaires in the U.S. are .0005% of the population, yet accounted for 18% of 2024 electoral spending.
Just 150 billionaire families spent nearly $2 billion.
This is not democracy. It is oligarchy.
Time to overturn Citizens United and move to public funding of elections.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is one of our most efficient agencies. Costs less than $1B a year & has fought to return over $20B directly to Americans.
But I guess it makes sense that a billionaire wants to eliminate one of the agencies that fights for working people.
