[WATCH] A year ago, KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi stood before the nation, clad in Special Task Force combat uniform and flanked by heavily armed officers during his no-holds-barred press briefing. Mkhwanazi levelled explosive allegations of political interference, corruption and organised crime within South Africa's criminal justice system.
