@mitch_fretton American Spurs fan here who actively hate watches the US because of the fans. Imagine having no one to talk to about football except when the World Cup rolls around and everyone is an expert. My only football friends are foreigners who know ball.

@wolicyponk @ettingermentum I flew to London with my 2 daughters to see our club play, toured the stadium, sat 30 rows from the field, walked to the game: less than $1000. American sports could never. Our club sent my daughter a birthday card in the mail too. They care about their supporters. Diff levels.

@ettingermentum It’s also the fact that the MLS is set up like other American sports and it’s governed from the top down whereas in Europe the clubs have the control. MLS will never be on the same level but they could start by following the relegation/promotion model in Europe
