199 днів не мив голову. І не мився. Тобто протирався, але в якийсь момент бруд в'ївся в пори. Плюс ще дим від свічок. Ця пилюка, і ти трешся цією серветкою, а воно вже не відтирається просто.

Колишній заступник мера Черкас Юрій Ботнар пробув 199 днів на позиції і дещо розповів.

Він разом зі своїм батьком пішли служити в 95-ту бригаду з першого дня.

Спочатку возив боєприпаси, потім став сержантом, а потім офіцером. Але йому завжди кортіло і хотів спробувати побути там, де найважче, у піхоті, на нулі.

Він витримав півроку в окопах. Без душу, без нормальної їжі, з лопатою замість головної зброї.

Розповів, що перші 30 днів - то був найважчий страх. Далі втома і темні думки в голові. А після 90 днів… приходить спокій. Тобто, ти просто робиш стільки скільки потрібно, вже все одно.

Він дякував тим, хто був з ним поруч, а це і колишні в’язні, які свідомо туди пішли, і звичайному хлопцю Віго, якого схопили просто з дороги на роботу.

І всі вони тепер як одна стіна між нашим домом і бідою.

Юрій каже, що піхота для нього не покарання, а повернення в реальність. Там він побачив, що справді важливе для нього і він цього ніколи не забуде.

Він пробув 199 днів у пеклі. Але живий. І знову вірить у Бога, у людей і в те, що ми вистоїмо.
