@reaghhan@bestofdyingtwit Misread Musk as having written "fascism" and was seriously shocked to see him admitting, publicly, that he has a fascination with architecture
@Sime0nStylites No one wants to do anything about the water companies because the costs of fixing everything are now so damn high it'd be painting a target on your back to take them on. Not that there's anything new about *that* dynamic.
@DisarmingNicko@Shayan86 (a) Unlikely. But (b) Even if he switched out the plates, neither the driving nor the switching of plates should be a capital offence - still less any kind of justification for an extrajudicial killing. So it's a red herring of the worst kind.
@NerdyNarrative_@Caimh Have you discovered the ST podcast? Loads of extra stories, wonderfully performed by different readers. No idea how Caimh pulled that off - he must have kompromat on half the comedians of the UK.
This series really is SO much fun, the audiobooks are hilarious and there's also the Stranger Times podcast, wherein are many extra stories from the Stranger Times world all read by different (and ridiculously multi-talented) comedians.
The Stranger Times is the @audibleuk deal of the Day today and you can get it for a ree-donc-u-lous £2.99.
I know YOU've got it already - but now you can become the life and soul of any family group/party/cult by recommending it to all your friends. https://t.co/cMzR5DzZ1q
@bbcquestiontime The people traffickers who con people out of huge amounts to get them into the country illegally will agree to tell their marks that it won't work, will they? That's good, I kind of assumed that their business model was based on deceit, control and exploitation.
