When to use COMPRESS...
COLD
Cold compresses are used to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and decrease blood flow.

HOT
Hot compresses are used to relax muscles, improve circulation, and relieve chronic pain.
They are applied to:
• Muscle pain (strains)
