In African spirituality we believe that the creator communicates with our ancestors in the spiritual dimension. Our ancestors then pass the Creators message through dreams and visions. Therefore we acknowledge our ancestors..they are not demons! They are our guides,
The SWAPO government has now spent well N$104m on official retirement houses for three of the four past Presidents: N$40m on Nujoma's retirement home, N$36m each for Pohamba and Geingob - and none of them ever lived in those houses.
It's just utterly nuts.
For the same money, 416 struggling middle-class families of five people each (2080 people) could have been provided with 250K NHE houses instead.
It is just so selfish.
CORRECTION: Simon pointed out that Nangolo Mbumba also got a N$38m mansion and that this bill now stands at N$152m. That's 608 low-cost houses for 3040 people.

Imagine bragging about MSMEs while the whole country has no food standards lab. We outsource taste buds to South Africa . Respect to @IUM_Namibia for stepping up, but this is a disgrace on national level.
WATCH: A Zimbabwean woman living in South Africa says returning home is not an option, arguing that life in Mzansi offers opportunities she values. Getrude Nkala recently showcased her appetite by finishing a 12.5 kg bag of maize pap in a remarkably short time, leaving even her own child astonished.
She maintains that living in South Africa is a privilege and insists that calls for foreign nationals to leave the country will not persuade her to return to Zimbabwe.
BREAKING: President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has nominated Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) director Bryan Eiseb for appointment as the next director general of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
The nomination was announced in the National Assembly this afternoon by Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare, ahead of the expiry of incumbent director general Paulus Noa's term on 30 June 2026.
Ngurare also announced plans to retain current ACC deputy director general Erna van der Merwe for a further one-year term, pending the appointment of a substantive deputy director general at a later stage.
If approved, Eiseb will take over from Noa, who has led the ACC since its inception in 2006, making him one of the longest-serving heads of a public institution in Namibia.
Parliament is expected to consider the nomination in accordance with the provisions of the Anti-Corruption Act before the appointment is finalised.
