If we teach man's commandments as doctrines, then our hearts are far from God. Above all, God desires that we love Him and all that He loves.

If we can't live peaceably with everyone, then we are unfit for the kingdom of God.

Consider Jesus who uncompromisingly resisted sin to the point of shedding His blood. He resisted "to the point of death, even death on a cross"(Philippians 2:8).

Once of the marks of a true believer is to joyfully accept loss because of the better, abiding possession we have in Jesus.

The establishment of our salvation is grounded in Jesus' submission to the Father's will--not in our worth or works.

Christ is the perfect founder of our salvation because He faced the same suffering that each believer has endured, and triumphed.
