GBPUSD Trade Recap ๐
Swept Asia session liquidity on EURUSD, giving SMT divergence as EURUSD ran stops while GBPUSD stayed heavy.
GBPUSD then formed a 5m FVG that was respected. I refined entry off an inverse 2m FVG that closed outside the initial imbalance.
Stayed bearish, targeting continuation lower.

USDJPY Trade Recap ๐
Asia session lows swept, triggering a bullish liquidity grab. After the sweep, price retraced into an order block + 2m FVG, both respected perfectly, giving me my entry.
Target was the equilibrium of the Asia session move down. Clean reaction and solid follow-through.

Gold (XAU/USD) 4H Short Setup โ ICT Concept
Gold has recently broken structure to the downside, confirming bearish order flow. The recent move has left behind a bearish supply imbalance in premium, suggesting that a retracement into this imbalance is needed before the next leg lower.
Current price action sits near discount equilibrium of the recent move, which often acts as a temporary pause or reversal point before a pullback. A bullish 15m iFVG supports this, indicating short-term bullishness to rebalance inefficiency.
We're anticipating a move back into the premium zone (bearish imbalance) to engineer better sell-side entries for smart money.
This setup is built on:
Recent structure break confirming bearish bias.
Price in discount, likely to retrace to supply.
Bearish imbalance around $3,300โ$3,310 as ideal sell zone.
Final draw on liquidity around $3,204, where a daily imbalance and sell-side liquidity reside.
Expectations:
Retracement up into imbalance zone.
Rejection and continuation lower, targeting sell-side liquidity.
Bias: Bearish, awaiting retracement to premium imbalance before entering short.
GBP/USD 4H Short Setup โ ICT Concept
Price has created relative equal highs in premium, indicating a potential liquidity pool above. Following that, weโve seen a bearish Break of Structure (BoS) on the 4H timeframe, confirming a shift in order flow.
Currently, price has returned to the discount zone for sells within the previous range (between 0.5โ0.79 retracement), offering a potential entry point for shorts.
The setup aligns with smart money concepts:
Liquidity sweep above equal highs.
SMT divergence with EURUSD
BoS confirming bearish intent.
Price retracing into a premium zone for institutional sell interest.
Targets:
First target near the smaller demand zone ~1.36400.
Final target toward the larger imbalance and demand block near 1.34800.
Bias: Bearish below 1.37300 as long as structure and liquidity context remain intact.
GBP/USD will most likely have sell offs during Asia session allowing London session to manipulate into a daily discount before making legs down in New York session on Monday
