@ShaunLintern All-in-all some good elements to this offer, unmentioned parts, and a clear will from Drs to be at work rather than on strike makes the offer tempting. Sadly it’s far too vague, shifts problems instead of solving and is a bad deal for patients. I’ll be reluctantly voting No.

@ShaunLintern 4. Funding royal college membership, exam and portfolio fees is a great step. But the lack of retrospective reimbursement leaves behind our colleagues who have already shelled out £1000s on these exams. Plus a qualifier of ‘mandatory’ without any definition is a little fishy

@SLC_Repayment It's making it frustratingly difficult to complete my tax return when your service is down literally every Sunday - one of the few times I'm free - and there is no option to find the information elsewhere or a schedule of planned maintenance reasonably far in advance
@bbctms The 2024 edition of The Hundred Women’s competition had 101 sixes in total. We’ve already had 8 sixes from just one innings. Is it finally time to let the women play on the same boundary size as the men?
@MartinSLewis@itvMLshow I think it depends on how well you know the person; some of the best dates I’ve been on were the ones I wouldn’t have been able to afford without a cheeky deal. But I can also understand discontent if your first impression of someone’s financial situation doesn’t match reality
@ishsulin Counterpoint: it doesn’t matter whether someone’s a new FY1, nobody of any seniority should ever be shouted at in a professional setting. The only exception being to urgently prevent imminent harm/danger, which should be swiftly followed by a debrief and explanation once safe
@frankturner This record (and more specifically the podcast) is what turned me from someone who kinda likes Frank Turner and has a few songs on their playlists into someone who sets alarms for ticket sales and has an unhealthy amount of Frank Turner vinyl.
Loving the Saviors listening party at @RoughTrade - awesome to hear the new @GreenDay album a week ahead of release! Absolutely banging album with ridulously high energy (and wonderful bass tone!). Can’t wait for release day!!
