People swim in Lake Monroe because it’s beautiful, because it’s hot, because it’s deep and mysterious. The adventure of breaking and entering makes it all the more sweet. Diving off that low-hanging tree is more fun when the authorities might be coming through the brush to get you. @noahdwing
Very thank for for Reverend @ZacharyGarris unapologetically stating Scripture's incapability with the evils of feminism. May the Lord bless your work.

Today the Church’s hope in respect to her mission of discipling all nations is in eclipse. The world gives Christianity no future and evangelicals themselves doubt whether the cause of Christ can ever attain to a greater triumph before his Second Advent. Must the prospects for succeeding generations be darker than those of today? Can we even expect any period of history to intervene before the Advent of Christ? How can readiness for Christ’s coming be consistent with the belief that revivals are yet to be given to the Church? Such questions are brought to the fore in 'The Puritan Hope' and the author, employing both exposition of Scripture and much historical and biographical material, sets out the case for believing that it is not ‘orthodox’ to indulge in gloom over the prospect for Christianity in the world.

But Vince’s is right on the River Raisin. There’s no tray for your window, and the root beer comes in Styrofoam cups, but you can get out and eat right on the River Raisin, which is as pleasant a dining experience as you can get. In my opinion, for a Monroe-style dog, Vince’s is better. Yet the hot dogs are similar. @noahdwing
Both Vince’s and Monroe’s Original drive-ins offer similar Monroe-style chili dogs, each differing in taste, but not presentation. The aroma of the chili wafts through your windows as you drive along the River Raisin past Vince’s. After crossing the river and turning onto Front Street, you’ll see the classic orange overhang of Monroe’s Original Hot Dog. And of course, you’ll smell that chili. @noahdwing
Men feel trapped in the prison that is secondary school before they graduate and move on to the trades, thinking they‘ll be free at last from the dullness of John Dewey’s educational reforms.
Some find this freedom. Others find the same old system in the physical workplace.

The priesthood isn’t the only job that matters. Electricians, doctors, homemakers, and scholars all have honorable vocations. All of that work is a calling from God.
What are you doing with your calling?

The Indian Creek Zoo was weird. It’s the only attraction in Bedford Township. And it isn’t your typical petting zoo with a large property. It was in a guy’s backyard.
It started with camels. Joe Garverick bought his first camel from a friend in 2011... But the camels were only part of the 150 animals he had acquired. @noahdwing
