Another extension with Marco Reus is unlikely, but a continuation in the Bundesliga is possible. A potential return to Gladbach is likely. Reus is available on a free transfer, making him financially viable for Gladbach. Few other clubs would likely accept further reductions in his salary, which was recently cut to just over six million at BVB. Gladbach is currently desperately searching for experienced offensive players, internally deciding to bring more leadership quality into the squad with future transfers. Reus possesses these qualities.
Wolfgang Kleff: "If Reus is interested in Gladbach, that would be extremely appealing. The most important thing is that he is affordable and does not disrupt the salary structure. Reus, with his experience, would certainly be beneficial to the club. My favorite player Rocco Reitz could learn a lot from him. Reus is someone who ruthlessly capitalizes on his goal-scoring opportunities – and unfortunately, we lack that in our team." [SPORTBILD]
@LarsPollmann I am going to really enjoy watching them together. Great work ethic from both of them. I think Meunier needs to continue taking the minutes over Wolf, too
Red Sox ownership not showing up to Winter Weekend after back-to-back last place seasons, the full throttle comments and the dud of an offseason they’ve had so far is such an awful, awful look. You can’t get upset when people ask if you still care when these are your actions.
@LarsPollmann Yeah, I think the mismanagement has been more with Moukoko and Reyna’s minutes, but we need help staying in the top 5 and especially the top 4, so Sancho is very welcomed imo.
And hopefully something can lead to him staying around longer.
@StefanBuczko Settling for him because it was a free, then not giving Rapha a competitive offer while also selling Sancho, Haaland, and Bellingham is a spit in the face to the fans. When are we going to act like one of the biggest clubs in the world?
@KaraonTW I’m a BVB fan, and this is offside, but it was very strange how they didn’t VAR BVB’s goal that looked offside in the same way. That is what I would be upset about if I were a Leverkusen fan.
ROSENTHAL: "Coming off a 68-win season, what made you want to become a Texas Ranger?"
EOVALDI: "Well, my agent messed up negotiations with the Red Sox so here I am"
@FearTheWall And Akanj, and Lewandowski, and Dembele, and Gundogan…
We are one of the biggest clubs in the world. I know we can’t keep them all, but I don’t understand why we can’t keep some of these guys around??
