This week in class we are talking about companies aligning with social issues. Today I am highlighting lululemon for promoting pride month, and creating a clothing line and movement associated with it.

Today in class we are talking about the use of ethics in ads, and when those are violated. In this example, Nivea tried to promote a deodorant. They promoted by showing how it was “invisible” on skin. There was backlash online as it was deemed racist.

Hi everyone today my class is talking about quantitative vs qualitative research. Personally I enjoy quantitative research much more because it is much easier to categorize, and it focuses more on numerical data.

-Build relationship with consumers
-Chance of “blowing up” and reaching a large group of people
Cons:
-Many people on this app are not serious, and will not take the post serious
-Character limits
-Can be hard to see due to individual algorithms
