Who had Richarlison on the bingo card as first to fall out with Roberto De Zerbi?
In all seriousness… are people blaming Richy for Ndiaye not joining?!
Ndiaye’s going City because he wanted City. No other reason. Stop the Richy hate. He saved us in May!

The amount of grown arse adults stamping their feet and saying this window is now a disaster because we've missed out on a player and another is coming in that they don't like ...is quite alarming
@AshGCOYS Everton would have sold Ndiaye anyway. The hope was that now Cody going City we can sneak in and would be the best option for the boy. Unfortunately Cody > M City collapsed and we get punished
2/2 The criticism I'll accept is the pivot to Mudryk who has not kicked a ball properly for two years. I actually think there's a player there but 75m buy option is wild to the point of ludicrous. RDZ thinks Tosin is a leader. I doubt he plays much. Not for me
It's a shame yesterday will tarnish Spurs window and form a shit narrative. The carrot to get Everton to the table was Richy. Didn't fall apart because of him. Man City are where they are and we are where we are. Food chain reality. Club did everything feasible to get it done 1/2
Spurs were having a really well planned-out summer transfer window, at first quick and decisive and then patient with their attacking targets. However, it's all finishing off in a bit of a frantic grab and go fashion, as it will for most clubs.
The Cody Gakpo situation has had a big domino effect in first Spurs wanting him but being usurped by City and then City in turn being unable to get the Dutchman from Liverpool so instead jumping across for Tottenham's next choice Iliman Ndiaye.
It means Spurs have had to drop down their wishlist and Kevin Danso asking to leave was another spanner in the works. I think De Zerbi and most fans would rather have kept him over many of the alternatives.
I just about get the Mudryk thinking as squad cover if, and it's a big if, De Zerbi can get the best out of him again after their Shakhtar time together, but it would only make sense if Spurs then had the option to sign him after a loan.
All in all, still a £400m Tottenham transfer window like no other, and there's still tomorrow. Who knows what deadline day might bring.

Omar goodness. Eight new signings for Spurs before deadline day. Considering the quality brought in, money spent and finally a refresh of the squad, it has to be Tottenham's best summer transfer window of the modern era so far doesn't it? They had plans and made them a reality.
