@DJJenkins I agree that procedural justice doesn't always align with moral justice. My question for you is: should Fauci be held accountable for his sin of lying?
@DJJenkins A pardon might cover the legal aspect of his lies, but that doesn't excuse the moral aspect. Would you say that Fauci isn't morally responsible for his lies if he was legally pardoned for them?.
@DJJenkins Careful or people might think you are as slippery as Jole Webbon. Let's stay on topic, as I've never voted for Trump, we'll stick to Fauci's perjury. Do you think Fauci should be held legally accountable for lying under oath?
@DJJenkins You certainly can't hold Fauci legally accountable for his bad-faith policy recommendations and his campaigning for those policies. We can hold him morally accountable for, though. He should be held accountable for his perjury. He lied under oath. Lying is a sin, right?
@DJJenkins You don't agree with what? That Fauci should be held accountable for lying under oath? Or for advocating for policies that were blatantly unhelpful and dishonest, keeping in mind he was the most influential public health official?
@DJJenkins Okay, maybe not everything is automatically public, all constitutional-loving people ought to be able to agree that Fauci's actions need the highest levels of examination and he must be held to account for his actions. Can't we agree that no one is above the law?
The world said this about Jesus.
“Some said, “He’s demon possessed and out of his mind. Why listen to a man like that?”
John 10:20
God The Father said this to Jesus.
“Then a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my dearly loved Son. Listen to him.”
Mark 9:7
Jesus reminds us as His Followers
“—If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household!”
Matthew 10:25
The world calls us crazy, but God calls us Sons and Daughters.
“For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths.”
2 Timothy 4:3-4
