I propose 3 ideas to @WARDOGS @Brammflakes

1. Ghost Queue for Community Servers

We have hundreds of players constantly sitting in queues. They should be able to stay in their main server queue while also joining a secondary "ghost queue." If that secondary server hits the 20/20 player requirement to start, those players automatically get swapped over to populate the new server.

50v50 servers are constantly full, with queue times that go on forever, while other servers sit completely empty. This would fix that problem almost immediately.

2. Player XP Share Leaderboard

If we want to let players grind XP to their hearts content, fine, that's completely fine. But the average player should also be able to tag along and earn something from it.

This also creates a fun little meta game where people can bet on streamers or XP grinders based on who they think will perform the best. Add a leaderboard to this, and suddenly you've got people competing to be the top XP earner, giving players a reason to keep grinding beyond just "unlocking new things."

3. Redo the Whole Fooking Gold Market

This shit is a scam. We have absolutely no idea how the thing works, and it just robbed people of their time by having gold prices hit $3 MILLION. That's a fucking crazy level of scam.

At least give players the power to understand how the market actually works, like a regular stock market. Let us see what's driving the prices, how supply and demand work, and what is actually happening behind the scenes instead of having everyone blindly guessing while their time gets wasted.

What is even worse is that 5+ players in the @WARDOGS 100k compilation had POTATO SHADOWS ENABLED.

Surely players who can record clips are not on the insanely low spec required to natively use this setting.

Even if a single one of these players is using a config edit, that's a BAD LOOK...

The stance by players using this is, “if the devs didn’t like it, they’d ban us!”. You can’t blame them when we have high level streamers with 300+ viewers abusing the setting, acting as poster boys.

One idea I keep seeing shared for @WARDOGS is the old MMO mechanic of Rest XP. You accrue double XP whilst you are offline and not playing (up to a maximum cap) which you then spend later.

This seems like the only way to curb experience that people are getting for playing 10 hours per day vs. the dads coming home after work.

One of the biggest opportunities to improve the game will be Primitive Servers (Name Pending!)

Allowing players to choose not to play with power weapons and then not having to nerf or overtune them for the myriad of different players.

Regardless, we keep going, we learn, we improve.

ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

Season 2 was meant to be a fresh start, and for a lot of you it hasn't felt like one. We sped up progression on deliberately and tried to balance the game better, as set out in the patch notes, but it was the wrong call.

Some players are reaching end game gear like Tier 4 armour and MBTs within days, so the wipe never really landed.

Some things are clearly out of balance and we'll fix them. Others have the community split, so we want to see how those play out first.

We won't be doing a knee jerk reset this weekend, as that would be unfair on everyone already enjoying the climb. Instead, we're looking at significantly bringing forward Season 3 and some of its content, so you get a proper fresh start. More details in our dev vlog next week.
