Notice what she conveniently leaves out: the group chat and the victim pleading with Cornell to return her money so she could leave. But she makes sure everyone knows the victim was intoxicated. This is peak pick me loser behavior. And I bet she’s a boy mom
Imagine hating your brown self so much, having so little self pride or self worth, that you voluntarily and proudly tell people on the internet that your daughter’s mom is white.
FFS.
With broken hearts, we mourn the loss of our third brother found deceased in his taxi over the last three months.
The brother, of the Sikh faith, was a father to 10-year-old twins. He was young and active.
On Friday afternoon around 5 pm, he pulled over after dropping off passengers in the West Village. His friends realized something was wrong when they couldn't reach him for hours. At 11 pm, they traced the car to the West Village and learned he had been parked there since the drop-off.
How many strangers passed him? How many hit the hood for the car to move or lamented there were too many cabbies taking up parking spots? There lay a man, a devoted father and husband, with a wife in a frantic search and with parents and siblings far away.
We are supposed to work to live, not live to work. But drivers like our deceased brother work grueling hours. As trips shrink while costs grow, they’re left with little time to take care of themselves working longer and longer hours to try to make ends meet.
Rest in eternal peace, dear brother. We know this inhumane system failed you, though you gave it your everything. We will honor you in our struggle.
Ramzi Kassem shouldn’t be condemned for his work legally representing an al-Qaida member. He should be thanked.
Take it from retired Lt. Cmdr. Travis Owens, who served 20 years as a Navy JAG lawyer, and worked alongside Kassem at Guantánamo Bay. https://t.co/CIWOHVmm9q
Abdul El-Sayed: “There are 3M people who listen to Hasan. I want to offer them a pathway into an electoral movement where rather than sit outside the electoral system, they see a pathway around the things they agree with that he says that I agree with and a pathway that disavows the things that I disagree with. I’m glad to be on your show, but I’m not here to talk to you. I’m here to talk to the people you’re talking to”
Stephen A. Smith: “I gotta confess to you: that’s a damn good answer!”
As the nation prepares to mark 25 years since Sept. 11, 2001, Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Michigan, may be facing the risk of renewed scrutiny and fresh political attack. https://t.co/BHsuxDhOZj
I just moved to Brooklyn from Manhattan and thought Manhattan politics were wild. This is insane shady stuff. Sometimes you can win the vote and still lose the war. This woman has completely ruined her credibility and reputation. Was it really worth it?
Report from Brooklyn Democratic Party exec committee meeting is that Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn's anti-democratic power grab has passed by 21-19 vote (1 abstention, 1 no-show)
*All 8 District Leaders who lost in June voted yes*
A purely cursory review of what’s going on in the bk dem coup is a strong argument against “waiting your turn” when the entire structure is set up to never let it be your turn.
It’s telling that some are furiously bothered they may have to prove their $5M second home is actually their primary residence. Meanwhile, if you’re poor in America, it’s a full-time job producing bank statements, pay stubs & tax returns just to prove you’ll starve without help.
When CNN asked Abdul El-Sayed if Israel has a right to exist, he said:
"Nobody ever asks me whether
Palestine has a right to exist. Israel exists. A better question is:
“Does Israel have a right to our tax dollars?"
