I don't get it. Why is code dating even a discussion? It's a perishable product. What are you hiding? That someone might see that it's old on the shelf & not buy it? Then, you have a bigger problem than code dating.

@LLDierks @MikeLovesBeer I agree with all of this, as a biz owner myself, it’s just upsetting seeing someone pass over ur awesome beer bc it doesn’t have a date. Dates hold everyone in the tier system accountable, including my retail store, to ultimately give the cust. the best exper to consume ur beer

@nobeerdate @AlpineBeerCo I’m guessing the 8 is the year and 262 is the day....sept 22, 2018. I know this isn’t ideal, but if you are a beer nerd you should know this by now!
