TBH...haiku deck is my favorite tool I learned about. But I also wanna use smartboard presentations more in the future! #teachtechs16

@BrittanyASpear I'm a one track kind of lady. It's been a real journey. I saw promise. I was mistaken.

So the moral of the story: no Prezi. Wayyyy too much effort. #teachtechs16

[Abbie Deal @nobigdeal89]

moral of the story: Prezi looks awesome and is a huge pain to use #worthit? #stillimpressed #teachtechs16

[Abbie Deal @nobigdeal89]

Intrigued by Prezi but intimidated by learning it. Looks super cool though! #teachtechs16

Schools give kids access to porn, drugs, violence, etc via 1:1 internet. Should schools talk about this? #digitalcitizenship #teachtechs16

[Abbie Deal @nobigdeal89]

I worry the most about #digitalaccess for the students I'll work with - what can I do to help them when they're not at school? #teachtechs16

[Abbie Deal @nobigdeal89]

I work with several kids who use PECS and I love how they open up the world to kids with communciation disorders #SPED #teachtechs16

https://t.co/NaPawC73MJ All this talk of fair use reminds me of a makeup artist I follow who just talked about the same thing #teachtechs16

[Abbie Deal @nobigdeal89]

Fair use = terrifyingly nebulous! How do we define "genuine transformations" or material? #teachtechs16

[Abbie Deal @nobigdeal89]

still pondering how to use smartboards for secondary social studies...wanna search for more lessons online! #teachtechs16

[Abbie Deal @nobigdeal89]

not gonna lie...the smartboard can be REALLY cool. I'm excited to play around with it! #teachtechs16

[Abbie Deal @nobigdeal89]

I've seen interactive whiteboards in kindergarten art classrooms #mindblowing but I'm always impressed with how they're used! #teachtechS16

[Abbie Deal @nobigdeal89]

[Abbie Deal @nobigdeal89]

I'm all about that flipped classroom. Now to figure out how to do screencasts... #teachtechs16

[Abbie Deal @nobigdeal89]

I remember being on the forefront of the smartboard movement as a student. They're still here! #sotrendy #teachtech16

[Abbie Deal @nobigdeal89]

Dude I'm just barely "getting connected"... but it's a start! Starting to see the potential #TeachTechS16

[Abbie Deal @nobigdeal89]

I can get behind the #groundedtechintegration model --> less scary for a luddite like me! #slowlyfiguringitout #TeachTechS16
